An interesting fact arrived today at our desk, and we said wow!

George W. Bush, the former US president who is famous for toppling middle eastern dictators and their statues, has a statue of him erected in his honor in the former communist country of Albania.

The prime minister of that country, Sali Berisha, proudly claimed at the unveiling of the Bush statue, that it was built using the bronze that was gained by melting down several Stalin statues (Albania used to be a soviet satellite state).

The Albanians claim to have plenty of left over bronze left to build many more such statues.

News like this deserves a mention.

Our sources also indicate that an Obama statue is in the works, commissioned to be built on black basalt rock by another Albanian artist.

Its announcement is pending until after the US presidential election.
