A loving family comprised of a father, son and daughter may be responsible for robbing as many as seven banks in two states.
Bonding over robbing banks, the cohesive family unit of Ronald Scott Catt, 50, and his two children, 20-year-old Hayden and 18-year-old Abby was apprehended last week after they robbed a credit union in Katy, Texas.
Hailing from their native Oregon, the family were on a bank robbing holiday in Texas at the time of the arrest, according to deputies with the Fort Bend Sheriff’s Office in Texas.
A local source told ABC News he knows the Catt family well and said they are “really solid community members” who love their community and each other very much so that they always want to do things and adventures together.
“He was a single dad. I think he lost his wife and he had the responsibility to take care of his kids and I got to tell you, he was there for them, always saying he would do anything for them, and he sure did” added the source. “Love conquers all, even lack of money, which is the source of all evil.”
The father and son duo are being held in the Fort Bend County Jail on $140,000 bonds after being charged with robbery.
Abby Catt’s bond has been set at $100,000, twice the amount they stole.
